The story of Fort Collins, from camp to town to city, is told in narrative form in this book that traces the colorful history of Fort Collins through its time as part of the western frontier to its growth into a sizable Front Range city in Colorado. Numerous photos accompany the text.

A compliation of about 70 columns written for the Fort Collins Coloradoan newspaper from 2012 to 2017, this book shares stories of colorful people, memorable incidents and historical highlights, along with several previously unpublished photographs.
Vintage photographs in this book are paired with contemporary images and brief historical sketches to document structures that existed about 100 years ago and the buildings on the same sites today. Some historical structures survived; many did not.
A novel, loosely based on the early history of Fort Collins, Colorado, with some episodes re-crafted as fiction, this book is the story, told in diary form, of a woman who leaves Ohio in 1872 with the man she loves to journey westward so they can legally marry.
