On July 10, 2018, I will give a presentation, "Hidden History of Fort Collins," for the Foothills Rotary Club. With words and images I will share some lesser-known tales of Fort Collins's colorful past. I have recently been a guest speaker at a PEO Chapter meeting, a neighborhood book club, and a men's service club. I am available for talks and Power Point presentations, after which I offer books for purchase.
My Front Range Community College Class, "Legendary Locals of Fort Collins," has been rescheduled for Saturday, March 24, from 10 a.m. to noon. In this class I will share stories that did not make it into the book of the same name due to word limitations. So many stories! At 10 a.m. Saturday, October 28, the Fort Collins Coloradoan will host a launch event for columnist Barbara Fleming’s new book, Hidden History of Fort Collins in the newspaper’s community room on Riverside Drive. The author will present a short talk about some of the images in the book and read a favorite column. The event is free and open to the public.
